Det har nu gått en vecka och drygt 100 mils körning.
Jag är väldigt nöjd med resultatet ca 275 hk och 600 Nm. Bilen är mycket rappare och växlar mycket bättre. Lägger jag i Sportläget då blir det riktig drag.

Har du svårt att ta dig till oss så hämtar och lämnar vi din bil, under tiden kan du vid behov använda vår lånebil, du betalar enbart för bränslet. Vi hämtar och levererar tillbaka samma dag eller efter särskild överenskommelse. Vi är fullvärdesförsäkrade så du som kund ska känna dig trygg.
En optimering av bilen innebär ökning av motorns effekt och vridmoment, men sänker bränsleförbrukning samt utsläpp av miljöskadliga ämnen.
I alla priser ingår alltid provkörning, laddtryckskontroll, diagnoskontroll samt funktionskontroll. Ny programvara innebär ändrade parametrar för bränsle, fyllnadsgrad, tidpunkt för insprutning, tändning, laddtryck, momentbegränsare, rökbegränsare, vridmoment och fartspärr.
Även biltillverkare tänker på optimering och använder samma motor i olika bilar. Många gånger är det bara programvaran som skiljer mellan 140 hk och 170 hk. Bilar tillverkas ofta stora upplagor och ska fungera i många länder, på lågt oktantal, i hög värme och på hög höjd. Det gör att programmen måste ha stora spelrum som i sin tur gör att effektuttaget blir lägre.
En annan anledning är att de släpper en version med t.ex. 150 hk. Nästa år kommer en ny modell med 180 hk. Skillnaden är bara programvaran. Det är kostnadseffektivt för biltillverkaren och för vissa bilägare är det fantastiska besparingar, när man får en bättre bil med chiptuning!

Du får gör din bättre! Alla nya bilar måste uppfylla kraven på avgasrening vilket är en del av det helfordonsgodkännandet för bilar som säljs inom EU. Bilprovningen kan inte anmärka på den nya motorprogramvaran då alla avgaskrav uppfylls. I de flesta fall blir det bättre avgasvärden än på ny bil, det här på grund av att vi höjer tändningen som i sin tur leder till en förbättrad förbränning.
